PolyAlerts — Privacy Policy

PolyAlerts does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There is no account, no login, and no sign-up. The app runs entirely on your device.

What data the app handles

• Your alert settings (the markets you pick and the price/percentage thresholds you set) are stored only in a local database on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any server we control — we do not operate any server.
• Public market data is fetched directly from Polymarket's public data API (gamma-api.polymarket.com) so the app can show current prices and check your alerts. These are ordinary read-only requests for publicly available market information and contain no personal data about you.

What we do NOT do

• No user accounts, no email or phone collection.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of data — there is no data to sell or share.

Backup & transfer

If you enable Android's built-in Auto Backup, Android may copy the app's local alert database to your own Google account backup so your alerts can be restored on a new device. This is handled entirely by Android/Google under your control; the developer never accesses it. You can also manually export/import your alerts as a file you choose — that file stays wherever you save it.

Permissions

• Internet / Network state — to fetch public market prices.
• Notifications — to show you an alert when a price threshold is reached.

Not affiliated with Polymarket

PolyAlerts is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not created by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Polymarket. It does not place trades or handle any funds; it only sends notifications and can open the official Polymarket website in your browser.

Children

PolyAlerts is not directed to children under 13.
